Account & Security Settings: Profile, Password and Two-Factor

1 min read

Your account settings cover your profile, password and login security. Authentication is OTP-based — email verification, two-factor login and password reset all use one-time codes rather than links, for stronger, phishing-resistant security.

Profile and password

Update your name and contact details, and change your password from settings. Choose a long, unique password you do not reuse elsewhere.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA so that logging in also requires a one-time code sent to your email. This protects your account even if your password is compromised.

OTP everywhere

Email verification, 2FA and password reset all use 8-digit codes that expire after a few minutes. If a code lapses, simply request a new one.

Frequently asked questions

How long are OTP codes valid?

A few minutes. Request a fresh code if one expires.

I am locked out — what do I do?

Use password reset, which sends an OTP to your email to set a new password.

Is 2FA required?

It is strongly recommended, especially for owners and anyone with broad permissions.

Troubleshooting

OTP emails are slow.

Check spam and wait a moment; mail delivery can lag. Resend if needed.

Password change is rejected.

Ensure the new password meets the minimum length and the confirmation matches.
